Terms

Terms of Service

These terms describe the basic rules for using Freakycast. They are written as a practical launch baseline for an independent product and are intended to set clear expectations for accounts, content, and platform behavior.

Last updated March 12, 2026

By accessing or using Freakycast, you agree to use the service lawfully, respectfully, and in line with these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service. We may revise these terms over time, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated version.

Who can use the service

You may use Freakycast only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and are permitted to use the service where you live. You are responsible for making sure your use of the product complies with local rules and restrictions.

Accounts, profiles, and usernames

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Profile details, usernames, reviews, and lists that you publish should be accurate, non-misleading, and respectful of other people and organizations.

We may reclaim, remove, or require changes to usernames or profile content that impersonate someone else, violate rights, create confusion, or break these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. That includes, without limitation:

  • Attempting to disrupt, damage, probe, or overload the platform.
  • Accessing data or accounts you are not authorized to access.
  • Automating abusive scraping, spam, or fraudulent activity.
  • Posting unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or deceptive material.
  • Manipulating reviews, rankings, lists, or community signals in bad faith.

User content and public submissions

You keep ownership of the content you create, such as reviews, profile text, and public lists. By submitting content to Freakycast, you give us a non-exclusive right to host, store, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

You are responsible for making sure your content does not violate laws or the rights of others. We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe creates risk for the platform or community.

Platform changes, moderation, and termination

Freakycast is an evolving product. We may add, change, pause, or remove features at any time, including community, editorial, or account functionality. We may also investigate misuse, moderate content, suspend accounts, or terminate access when necessary to protect users, the platform, or our rights.

We are not required to keep any specific feature, catalog item, profile element, or public page available forever.

Intellectual property and third-party materials

The Freakycast product, brand elements, design, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or exploit the service or its materials except as allowed by law or with permission.

Freakycast also uses third-party data and assets, including TMDB metadata and imagery. Those third-party materials remain subject to their respective rights and terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Freakycast is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every feature, title entry, review, or public page will always be accurate, complete, or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freakycast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or business resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
